Located in Loudoun County, in the Ashburn area, Brambleton is a new town with schools, shopping, fire and rescue, and parks. A new visitors center recently opened and the construction of the second group of lots is underway. Brambleton features a state-of-the art fiber optic communications system, with video and high-speed Internet and community intranet services. Brambleton will also have three elementary schools and a high school, places of worship and numerous recreation amenities including parks, ball fields, tennis, walking trails and many other resort style amenities. The first elementary school, Legacy Elementary, and the high school, Briar Woods High School opened in the fall of 2005.
